Introduction
EXOSC5 is a member of the RNase PH family. EXOSC5 is known to cooperate with Exosome component 8 and Exosome component 1. EXOSC5 is a Non-catalytic component of the RNA exosome complex and has 3'->5' exoribonuclease activity. EXOSC5 take part in a large number of cellular RNA processing and degradation events. EXOSC5 is expressed in a large range of hematopoietic and epithelial tumor cell lines, but not in standard hematopoietic tissues or other standard tissue, with the exception of testis.
Description
EXOSC5 Human Recombinant produced in E. coli is a single polypeptide chain containing 256 amino acids (1-235) and having a molecular mass of 27.5kDa.
EXOSC5 is fused to a 21 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.

Formulation
The EXOSC5 solution (0.5mg/1ml) contains PBS buffer (pH 7.4), 200mM Nacl, 2mM DTT and 30% glycerol.
Stability
Store at 4°C if entire vial will be used within 2-4 weeks. Store, frozen at -20°C for longer periods of time.
For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA).
Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles.
Purity
Greater than 90% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
