Introduction
S100A4 is part of the S100 super-family of proteins containing 2 EF-hand calcium binding domains. S100A4 is ubiquitously overexpressed and is localized in the cytoplasm and/or nucleus. S100A4 is involved in motility, invasion, and tubulin polymerization. Chromosomal rearrangements and altered expression of the S100A4 gene have been implicated in tumor metastasis.
Description
S100A4 Human Recombinant produced in E.coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 121 amino acids (1-101) and having a molecular mass of 13.8 kDa.
The S100A4 is fused to a 20 amino acid His-Tag at N-terminus and purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.

Formulation
S100A4 protein at in 20mM Tris-HCl, pH-8 & 10% Glycerol.
Stability
Store at 4°C if entire vial will be used within 2-4 weeks. Store, frozen at -20°C for longer periods of time.
For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA).
Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles.
Purity
Greater than 95.0% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
