Introduction
Dynein Axonemal Light Chain 1 (DNAL1) functions as a component of the outer dynein arms complex. DNAL1 acts as the molecular motor which supplies the force to move cilia in an ATP-dependent manner. DNAL1 is expressed in tissues with motile cilia or flagella and takes part in the movement of sperm flagella. Alternate splicing results in numerous transcript variants.

Anti-human DNAL1 mAb,
clone PAT29E4AT, is derived from hybridization of mouse F0 myeloma cells with
spleen cells from BALB/c mice immunized with a recombinant human DNAL1 protein 1-190
amino acids purified from E. coli.

Purification Method
DNAL1 antibody was purified from mouse ascitic fluids by
protein-A affinity chromatography.

For periods up to 1 month store at 4°C, for longer periods of time, store at -20°C.
Prevent freeze thaw cycles.
Stability / Shelf Life
12 months at -20°C. 1 month at 4°C.
Applications
The antibody has been tested by ELISA, Western blot
analysis to assure specificity and reactivity. Since application varies,
however, each investigation should be titrated by the reagent to obtain optimal
results. Recommended starting dilution is 1:1000.
