Introduction
TXNDC12 is a member of the thioredoxin super family. This Family members have a thioredoxin fold with a consensus active-site sequence (CxxC) and take part in redox regulation, protection against oxidative stress, refolding of disulfide-containing proteins, and regulation of transcription factors.
Description
TXNDC12 Human Recombinant produced in E. coli is a single polypeptide chain containing 184 amino acids (27-172) and having a molecular mass of 20.8 kDa.
TXNDC12 is fused to a 38 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.

Formulation
The TXNDC12 solution (0.25mg/ml) contains 20mM Tris-HCl buffer (pH 8.0), 0.15M NaCl and 10% glycerol.
Stability
Store at 4°C if entire vial will be used within 2-4 weeks. Store, frozen at -20°C for longer periods of time.
For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA).
Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles.
Purity
Greater than 90% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
