Introduction
TAR RNA Binding Protein 2 (TARBP2) is a component of the RISC loading complex which takes part in the production of short interfering RNAs (siRNAs) from double-stranded RNA (dsRNA) by DICER1. TARBP2, which is also known as the micro-RNA (miRNA) loading complex (miRLC), contains three DRBM (double-stranded RNA-binding) domains. TARBP2 binds to the HIV-1 TAR RNA and stimulates translation of TAR-containing RNAs.
Description
TARBP2 Human Recombinant produced in E.Coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 345 amino acids (1-345 a.a) and having a molecular mass of 36.9kDa.
TARBP2 is purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.

Formulation
TARBP2 protein solution (1mg/ml) containing 20mM Tris-HCl buffer (pH 8.0), 10% glycerol and 0.4M Urea.
Stability
Store at 4°C if entire vial will be used within 2-4 weeks. Store, frozen at -20°C for longer periods of time.
For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA).
Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles.
Purity
Greater than 85.0% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
