CD19ELYS 293T Lysate represents a lysate of extracellular domain of human CD19 (CD19E) transfected 293T cells and is provided as 100μg protein in 200 μl SDS-PAGE buffer. Human CD19E extracellular domain (Met 1 - Lys 291) has a predicted molecular weight a of 31.6 kDa. In SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions migrates as an approximately 47 kDa band due to glycosylation.
Description:
CD19 is expressed on follicular dendritic cells and B cells. In fact, it is present on B cells from earliest recognizable B-lineage cells during development to B-cell blasts but is lost on maturation to plasma cells. It primarily acts as a B cell co-receptor in conjunction with CD21 and CD81. Upon activation, the cytoplasmic tail of CD19 becomes phosphorylated, which leads to binding by Src-family kinases and recruitment of PI-3 kinase.
Applications:
CD19-E 293T Lysate is suitable as a Western Blotting positive control for human reactive CD19 antibodies that recognize the extracellular domain. Recommended use: 10-20 μl per lane.
Control 293T Lysate: 293LYS is available as a Western Blotting negative control lysate derived from non-transfected 293T cells.
Storage:
Store at -20° C. Repeated freezing and thawing should be minimized. Sample vial should be boiled once prior to use. Non-hazardous. No MSDS required.
