Innovative Research's Human APO A1 Apolipoprotein is a single polypeptide chain in 245 amino acids with high alpha-helical content, major structural component of high density lipoproteins, cofactor for lecthin. Cholesterol acyltransferase levels, in general, are inversely related to risk of coronary artery disease in humans. Human APO A1 apolipoprotein is isolated by ultracentrifugation and delipidated by organic solvents.

Our Human Ultra Pure Apolipoprotein A1 is sourced from fresh human plasma that has tested negative for Hepatitis C, HIV-I, and HIV-II antibodies, as well as Hepatitis surface antigens. After a series of ultracentrifugations, HDL is isolated from human plasma. Apo A1 is purified from delipidated HDL, followed by gel filtration.
